Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Enable IMAP for Your Email Provider:

Before proceeding with SupportGPT, ensure that IMAP is enabled for your email provider.

Gmail:

Go to Settings > See all settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Enable IMAP and save changes.
Important: Gmail requires two-factor authentication (2FA). After enabling 2FA, you need to generate an app-specific password for SupportGPT:

  • Go to Google Account > Security.
  • Under Signing in to Google, enable 2FA if it isn’t already enabled.
  • Search for App passwords email settings section.
  • Create a new app password and name it SupportGPT.
  • Use this app password when entering credentials in SupportGPT.

Outlook/Hotmail:

Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Sync email.
Enable IMAP and save changes.

Yahoo:

Go to Settings > More Settings > Mailboxes.
Toggle IMAP to Enabled.

Zoho Mail:

Go to Settings > Mail Accounts.
Enable IMAP access.
